Too late for last week

G. Werschem and wife were the guests of F. Pieper and family Sunday.

H. Garleb Jr. and sister Clara were visitors at Althoff’s Sunday.

H. Bade, George, Phillip and Jacob Althoff were at the Bridge Sunday.

Sunday, May 27, the young friends of Miss Mary Pieper, daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. H.F.Pieper, called on her to help her celebrate her twelfth birthday.  The 
day was spent with all kinds of games and merry-making, the settling sun arriving 
only too soon to suit the jolly company.  They then departed well satisfied with 
the day’s enjoyment, wishing Miss Mary’s birthday would return two or three 
times a day.
