Mrs. Sibilla Weilbaecher, nee Menner The Waterloo Times, Feb 12, 1915 Mrs. Sibilla Weilbaecher, nee Menner, widow of the late Chas. Weilbaecher, died at her home in St. Louis. Wednesday, Feb 3, 1914, aged about 66 years, after a lingering illness. Her remains were brought to Waterloo Saturday morning and laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery here after rquiem mass in Sts. Peter and Paul’s Church. Eight children survive, two sons and six daughters, all of them residing in St. Louis. Three daughters and one son receded her in death. The Weilbaecher family formerly lived in this county. Mr. Weilbaecher followed farming and later on moved to Waterloo where he lived many years. About eight years ago the family removed to St. Louis, where they have since resided. Mr. Weibaecher died six years ago. A large delegation of relatives and friends came down from St. Louis to attend the funeral, which in spite of the extreme cold weather was largely attended. The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of all in their deep affliction. (NOTE) The death date may be a misprint, may have been 1915 as it was printed in the February 12, 1915 newspaper.
