Ritzel, Doris E. nee Mueller
Doris E. A. Ritzel nee Mueller, 64, of Waterloo, died May 1, 2005, in St. Louis. She was born 
December 21, 1941, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late Erwin W. and Luella Mueller nee Henke. 
She was married to Richard A. Ritzel. She is survived by her husband; children Allan Ritzel of 
Waterloo, Jeff (Nancy) Ritzel of Waterloo and Jason Ritzel of Waterloo; grandchildren Amber, 
Megan, Cody and Tanner; sisters LaVerne (Dale) Schutt of Waterloo and Linda Hard of St. Louis; 
brother Paul R. (Kathy) Mueller of Texarkana, Tex.,; aunt Luella Mueller of Columbia; and sisters-
in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. 
Mrs. Ritzel was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo. She retired as a secretary 
in the Waterloo School District. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral Home. Funeral services were at 
St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, Pastor Mark Buck officiating. She is buried at Kolmer 
Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ in 
Waterloo.
