Hohnbaum, Laurence A.
Laurence A. Hohnbaum, 77, of Waterloo, died September 27, 2004, in Red Bud. He was 
married to Alberta Huhnbaum nee Fromme. Mr. Hohnbaum was born August 27, 1927, in 
Wartburg, the son of the late Arthur and Eleanora Hohnbaum nee Bode. He is survived by his 
wife; son Larry (Cheryl) Hohnbaum, of Waterloo’ grandchildren Jeffrey (Nicole) Hohnbaum 
and Daniel Hohnbaum; great-granddaughters Erin Hohnbaum and Sierra Hohnbaum; brothers 
Eugene (Lillian) Hohnbaum and Ray Hohnbaum; mother-in-law Alice Fromme; niece Dr. Lolli 
(Kevin) Yaeger; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Joseph 
Hohnbaum. Mr. Hohnbaum was a former member of the Valmeyer Fire Department. Visitation 
and funeral services were at Quernheim Funeral Home, Pastor Tony Troup officiating. He is 
buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church 
of Waterloo or St. Mary’s Church in Valmeyer.
