Richter, Helen R. nee Rippelmeyer

Helen R. Richter nee Rippelmeyer, 94, of Waterloo, died Sept. 7, 2007, in 
Waterloo. She was born Feb. 2, 1913, in Waterloo, the daughter of the late 
Charles and Dorothea Rippelmeyer nee Nobbe. She was married to the late 
Arthur H. Richter. Mrs. Richter is survived by her sister Ruth Rippelmeyer of 
Waterloo; sister-in-law Kathy Rippelmeyer of Waterloo; nieces and nephews 
John (Diana) Prange, Mary (Rick) Jacobs, Peggy (Rick) Spink, Kerry (Keith) 
Brinkmann; great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was preceded in 
death by her parents; husband; sisters Clara S. Rippelmeyer and Dorothy Prange; 
and brother Carl L. Rippelmeyer. Mrs. Richter was a member of Immanuel 
Lutheran Church in Waterloo. She was a former Waterloo teacher and was a 
member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was also a member of Ladies 
Aid and the Peterstown Heritage Society. Visitation was at Quernheim Funeral 
Home. A funeral service was at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pastor Tony Troup 
officiating. She is buried at Kolmer Memorial Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials 
may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund.
