JERRY GRIFFIN DIED AUG. 10
Jerry T. Griffin, 58, of Waterloo, husband of Evelyn Griffin, nee Becker, died Aug. 10, 1986, 
near Waterloo.  He was a retired warehouse manager.  A funeral mass was said at 10 a.m. 
Tuesday, in SS Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo, the Rev. Leo Miller officiating.  Burial was 
in the church cemetery.  Quernheim Funeral Directors were in charge.  The Rosary was recited 
Monday evening at the funeral home.  Mr. Griffin was born Sept. 17, 1927, in St. Louis, a son 
of Catherine Griffin, nee Shields, and the late William M. Griffin.  He is survived by his wife, two 
sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Betty Griffin and Dennis and Sandra Griffin, all of 
Waterloo; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Timothy and Kevin Griffin; his mother; a brother, Robert L. 
Griffin, Waterloo; sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  (Wednesday 13 August 1986, Waterloo
