Koechel

Mrs. Elizabeth Koechel, wife of H. Koechel, died suddenly this morning, Jan 27, 1904.

She had been about as usual and only had celebrated her birthday anniversary Sunday.  Last night she was at the table for supper.

While there had been no alarming symptoms she was rather delicate and had not been in perfect health for some time past.

Mrs. Koechel, nee Oldendorph, was married to Mr. Koechel Oct 28, 1869.

To this union were born Lulu, Albert, William, Henry and Emma.

She was aged 56 years.

Mrs. Koechel was a devout Christian woman a member of the Evangelical church 
and of the Frauenverein.  

She was held in the highest estimation by all who knew her.  Her pleasing disposition 
and amiable character spread sunshine and cheer throughout the household.

She was also a member of the Flower Association, and took a very active part in all 
their proceedings.

The funeral will be Saturday in the Waterloo Cemetery.
